1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, creating an account on, or purchasing digital content from CodeYug (https://codeyugacademy.com, hereinafter referred to as the "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our associated policies (including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy). If you do not agree to every provision herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
2. Digital Products & Access Delivery
CodeYug publishes digital programming handbooks and technical ebooks classified as:
- CodeYug Complete: In-depth, production-grade technical handbooks (150–400+ pages).
- CodeYug Micro: Laser-focused, single-weekend practical guides (40–100 pages).
All ebooks are delivered via our proprietary cloud-based online reader. Upon verified transaction confirmation, digital access is linked immediately to the purchaser's authenticated account.
3. Pricing, Payments & Strict No-Refund Policy
- All prices are stated in Indian National Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable digital taxes.
- Payments are processed exclusively through certified PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Razorpay). CodeYug never captures or stores your raw card numbers or CVV.
- All sales are strictly final and non-refundable. Because digital access is provisioned instantaneously, no returns, exchanges, or cancellations are granted once a purchase is executed. Please review our full Refund Policy for details.
4. License Grant & Permitted Use
Subject to timely payment, CodeYug grants the purchaser a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable single-user license to view and read the purchased ebook solely for personal educational and career advancement purposes.
You are strictly prohibited from:
- Sharing, lending, reselling, renting, sublicensing, or distributing the content or account credentials to any third party.
- Uploading content to public or private file-sharing platforms (Telegram, Discord, Google Drive, Mega, torrent networks, GitHub, or file lockers).
- Using any automated scraper, bot, spider, headless browser, HTTP proxy, or interception tool (e.g. Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP) to harvest or extract raw vectors, SVGs, images, or source files.
- Modifying, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or creating derivative works based on CodeYug handbooks.
5. Intellectual Property, Forensic Watermarking & Legal Consequences
Every page rendered within the CodeYug platform incorporates active digital rights management (DRM) and dynamic forensic watermarking.
- Forensic Tracking: Digital watermarks embedding the licensee's registered email address, unique account identifier, transaction timestamp, and cryptographic hash are permanently stamped onto every reader view and asset.
- Active Anti-Tampering: The reader detects screen recording, DevTools inspection, unauthorized framing, and browser capture attempts.
LEGAL REPERCUSSIONS OF LEAKING OR ILLEGAL REDISTRIBUTION:
Any individual or entity identified as the origin of unauthorized distribution, leaking, scraping, or piracy of CodeYug intellectual property will face immediate, aggressive legal prosecution:
- Criminal Prosecution under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 (Section 63 & 63A): Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted digital works is a cognizable and non-bailable criminal offense punishable by mandatory imprisonment ranging from 6 months up to 3 years, together with substantial monetary fines up to ₹2,00,000 per violation.
- Cybercrime Liability under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (Section 43, 66, & 66B): Digital extraction, unauthorized downloading, hacking, or circumvention of digital rights protection mechanisms carries criminal penalties, including imprisonment up to 3 years and heavy civil liability for damages.
- Civil Damages & Injunctions: CodeYug will file emergency commercial suits for mandatory interim and permanent injunctions, recovery of full gross commercial damages (calculated on every unauthorized download), punitive damages, and all associated legal and investigative costs.
- Immediate Account Revocation: The offending account will be permanently banned with immediate forfeiture of all purchased items and zero eligibility for refund.
6. Account Security & Prohibited Conduct
You are responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your authentication credentials managed through Clerk. You agree to notify us immediately of any security compromise. Accounts involved in credential sharing, suspicious geographic jumps, or concurrent session abuse will be automatically quarantined.
7. Disclaimer & Technical Accuracy
CodeYug materials are published for technical educational and skill development purposes. While every effort is made to guarantee accuracy, code examples and architectural recommendations are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CodeYug is not liable for software bugs, system outages, or production failures resulting from implementation of code snippets.
8. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts having jurisdiction over the registered domicile of CodeYug in India.
